Come one, come all and revel in a brand new episode. This week we have special guest Eleanor to add a little bit of overdue female balance to the show. This is a fun podcast in which we talk about what we want to be when we grow up in only the most superficial sense possible. This episode's mistakes include:
- Poor audio balance due to the addition of a guest. Sadly, Eleanor starts off at a good level and then becomes very quiet. At least we follow in the storied tradition of never successfully having a guest on the show.
- Too much fun, leading to us constantly talking over one another.
- Only passing mention that we were all drinking Traditional Afternoon tea.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.

Guten tag, lads and gents. We are pleased to present you with yet another episode for aural digestion. This week, we talk broadly about inventions while freely diverging into discussion of, amongst other things, tribal cultures and peaches. That said, we're surprisingly on topic for once so full marks to us. This episode's mistakes include:
- No Ben as a guest host despite our episode number being a multiple of five.
- Microphone did not pick up pleasing gentle rainfall in background.
- #tuna.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.

Greetings, and welcome to the first show of 2024. I know what you're thinking - "Hold on Michael, it's only 2013!" Well, you're wrong. Nick's the one who writes these blog posts. And also, we're talking about waking up after being in a coma, and retrograde amnesia, and also time travel, mostly because we didn't really know what the topic was about. But thanks for your support regardless. This episode's mistakes include:
- Beverage-free recording, with neither tea to warm us nor alcohol to loosen our tongues.
- Excised introduction segments after the reveal of something that a listener shouldn't know. (Guess in the comments!)
- All numbers mentioned were in base 7.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.

This ramshackle episode brought to you Coyote Ugly®, now on Blu-Ray thanks to Buena Vista Home Entertainment. This week, we discuss whether we'd rather be brilliant at one thing, or pretty good at everything. It leads to less interesting conversation than you may expect, which in itself is probably what you expected. We've tweaked our audio setup again, so hopefully it will be louder for people. This episode's mistakes include:
- Repeated departures of one host from the room, lending an unsettling air to the podcast.
- A chronic inability to actually discuss the question at hand for more than two minutes at a time.
- Possible background tunes.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
Chase your dreams.

Yay, another good one. We had cups of tea again, and yet surprisingly it didn't kill the energy. Now that's progress. We talk a bit about superpowers (listener suggested) and a lot about other stuff. Send questions to deepfought@gmail.com. This episode's mistakes include:
- We know lots of you love to discover what audio issue we have each podcast, and are sorry to disappoint you with high quality sound this week.
- Wavering focus that lead to sporadic discussion of the topic at hand.
- Incurring the wrath of highly-trained armed soldiers.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
Push through the pain.

Another week plus one day, another podcast. Late again, this time due to interstate travel and birthday recuperation, we can nevertheless assure you that this episode is much more on point than the dross we uploaded last week. It's a vaguely happy one, too, like we've turned a corner. Well, maybe not. This episode's mistakes include:
- Persistent bird chirping in the background due to daytime recording.
- The interruption of a phone call at an inopportune moment.
- An unsatisfactory conclusion to a recurrent promise made over three weeks.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
Back in the swing of things.

We've definitely plateaued, because somehow our audio quality was rough this week. Very quiet. We've tried to fix it after the fact but it's all just a bit fuzzy. Luckily it's hard to be that disappointed with it since you'll be too disappointed in the uninteresting and dull content. Apparently Michael shouldn't drink tea during the podcast. This episode's mistakes include:
- Fuzziness as the lesser of two audio evils, the alternative being high background whirr from correcting low recording levels. So yeah, we know, you'll have to turn up the volume a lot. Sorry.
- A general unfunniness and lack of energy due to sobriety.
- The unfulfilled promise of a celebrity appearance.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
We promise to fall off the wagon next week.

And our apologies to you for being late this week. We know that the relationship between podcaster and podcastee is a sacred bond, and feel nothing but the deepest regret for letting you down. Still, it's an upbeat happy episode to counteract what some called "too depressing" last week. So, our apologies for that as well. This episode's mistakes include:
- A general sense of guilt about our tardiness that permeates the entire discussion.
- Uncomfortable silences as we contemplate our own lack of positive actions towards others.
- Terrible improvisational skills.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
Pay it forward.

We're back to our old tricks this week: depressing topics. Yes, it's an overly long, noticeably less focussed episode, even by our standards. What do you want to find out at the pearly gates? Expect many distractions and diversions. This episode's mistakes include:
- The encore performance of the famous mic wobble.
- A pathological inability to actually answer the question.
- Forgot to include picture of sponsored items in accompanying blog post.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
That said, these are the only mistakes we ever could have made.

Good day, ladies and sirs, and welcome to episode seven. We have now decided to credit our guests in text form as well as on the show itself, so without further ado we disclose that our good friend Austin joined us this week. There. Acknowledged. The topic at hand was virtual reality, but as is par for the course we approached it in a muddled and confusing fashion. This episode's mistakes include:
- The much anticipated return of audio quality issues! We've peaked, guys. It's back down the hill from here, mostly due to microphone wobbling, table bumps and constantly changing distances from each of the three speakers.
- Noticeably less coherent sentence structure and thought processes due to overall tiredness and alcohol.
- No photographs were taken of Michael and Austin cuddling.
- Egregious factual inaccuracies.
Try to imagine it.
